Facebook, Poets & Writers, and more:
April 17, 2011
Taxes are done, the snow is gone, and sandals are beginning to feel inevitable: spring is finally here, and with it, some very exciting events to look forward to. For any folks local to the New England area (or willing to travel), here are some great literary events open to the public worth making a note of on your callendars:
Naugatuck Valley Community College, Waterbury, CT
April 29th, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. More details here.
Freshwater Poetry Festival, Enfield, CT
May 6th – 7th. More details here.
Massachusetts Poetry Festival, Salem, MA
May 12th – 14th. More details here.
Also, if you haven’t checked out our facebook yet, you can find it here: https://www.facebook.com/Paper.Nautilus. It’s a really convenient way of staying informed of all the new developments coming up for our publication, and and great way to contact us, too.
And our ad is now available in Poets & Writers Magazine, in their May/June 2011 issue, and also at their website: http://www.pw.org/classifieds. (Click “Magazines” on the lefthand column and scroll down, as they are listed alphabetically.) And you may find other publications to share your work with, too. Even though trying to find a home for writing can feel unavoidably competitive sometimes, we think it’s just as important to support other publications in the writing community, so check out some of the other listings under P&W’s classifieds if you get a chance — but don’t forget to send us submissions, too!
Enjoy the sunlight.
